If you have a smartphone … or a tablet …

ibreviary

iBreviary is a great app that is available for your iphone or droid (and also tablets).  It is absolutely free!  It is a great resource if you want to pray the Liturgy of the Hours, look up the text of prayers, read the day’s readings and learn about the Saint of the day (if there is one).  Just go to the apple app store or the google marketplace to download it.

Thanks for the tip. Another great app that is free is Laudate which has the daily readings, reflections on the readings, Catholic prayers, the Catechism, the NAB Bible, Order of the Mass, Rosary and Chaplet, Vatican documents and more.

Yup like Laudatory too. It is packed with so much information. A really nice feature is the audio version of the readings, meditations, and Pope Benedict’s reflection for the day.

Sorry about the spelling mistakes above… I have remember to watch “auto correct”.. It keeps changing what I type!
