    Fantastic homily Gary. You showed great courage speaking about the scourge of our nation in the context of our Independence Day weekend celebration. Preaching about the evil of abortion cannot be relegated to only Pro-Life Sunday. Thank you for preaching the truth in season and out of season.

      The truth is the truth. Do not worry about being “too political.” Too many faithful Catholics have sat on the sidelines over the years for fear of being too “political” or “judgmental”. As a result, America, including a majority of church-going Catholics, continues down the path toward secularism, modernism, and relativism.
