Childlike in Faith

Are we humble before God?  Can we place our hope and trust in him without reservation, or does our higher intellect get in the way?  Jesus does not seek those whose intellect is developed, but rather those whose trust is great.

The disciples approached Jesus and said,
“Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven?”
He called a child over, placed it in their midst, and said,
“Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children,
you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven.
Whoever becomes humble like this child
is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.
And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me.

Can we step out in faith and know by trust that God will care for us no matter what?  The answer is that we must do so, or we will have no part in his kingdom.

Lord Jesus, make me childlike in faith.

What higher intellect? All kidding aside, I think being human we sometimes fall
a little short in the total trust department having every intention to trust 100%!
