Come, Lord Jesus

Psalm 95, with its plaintiff plea for the Lord to come and be with us, is one of the most powerful of all the psalms.  The psalm underscores our desire to live in right relationship with the Lord.  He gives us life and love and promises that we will share in the eternal life he gives.  In our response we cry out, “Come, Lord Jesus.”

Come, let us bow down in worship;
let us kneel before the LORD who made us.
For he is our God,
and we are the people he shepherds, the flock he guides.

We belong to him and we long to be with him forever.

Come, Lord Jesus!

    Simple and right to the point! Also, reads melodious!
