My Help

maxresdefault (3)

When dark times come, to whom should we cry out for help?  Does our help come from our wealth, our possessions?  It does not.  Our family and friends can try to help us, but when we are truly in trouble that endangers our soul, there is only one who can save us. He is the Lord.

The Lord GOD is my help,
therefore I am not disgraced;
I have set my face like flint,
knowing that I shall not be put to shame.
He is near who upholds my right;
if anyone wishes to oppose me,
let us appear together.
Who disputes my right?
Let him confront me.
See, the Lord GOD is my help;
who will prove me wrong?

Trust in him and you will never need to fear.  Trust in him and you will never be alone. Trust in him and he will give you peace.
