Strength for the Weak

The greatest gift that the Lord has given to us is the Eucharist.  To have true communion with him and with each other we must eat his flesh and drink his blood as he commanded us to do.

Praise be to Jesus Christ!

  1. Lee Surkin says:

“Lord Jesus, Who in the Eucharist make your dwelling among us and become our traveling companion, sustain our Christian communities so that they may be ever more open to listening and accepting your Word. May they draw from the Eucharist a renewed commitment to spreading in society, by the proclamation of your Gospel, the signs and deeds of an attentive and active charity,”- Pope John Paul II

Jesus gives himself to us in the Eucharist, shares our journey and, in fact, makes himself the food that sustains our lives, even when the road gets rough and obstacles slow our steps.

  2. Nancy Novicki says:

One bread, one body, one Lord of all.
One cup of blessing which we bless.
And we, though many, throughout the world,
We are one body in this one Lord!
