Come to Me

Who do you rely upon when you are weak and heavily burdened?  Yourself?  Your family? Friends?  Perhaps so, but can they give you the kind of rest that Jesus can give?

Jesus said:
“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”

Life is hard.  The Lord knows it.  He was one of us, and he suffered just like we do. Can we be humble enough to let him carry our heaviest loads?  It is what he came from heaven to do for us.

Trust in Jesus.  He will give you rest.

    Why would anyone want to go anywhere else? I trust the Lord with every
    fiber of my being. My dilemma is whether we both want the same results
    because it’s not my will be done but His!
