Watch Carefully How you Live

disciple3

It is not enough to believe in Jesus.  After all, even Satan believes in Jesus.  There is more to being in union with the Lord.  Paul tells us in today’s reading  from Ephesians that is the way we live our lives that determines whether we measure up as disciples.

Brothers and sisters:
Watch carefully how you live,
not as foolish persons but as wise,
making the most of the opportunity,
because the days are evil.
Therefore, do not continue in ignorance,
but try to understand what is the will of the Lord.
And do not get drunk on wine, in which lies debauchery,
but be filled with the Spirit,
addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing and playing to the Lord in your hearts,
giving thanks always and for everything
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.

Are you living the journey, or do you still have a long way to go?

Yeah, me too.

I am on that journey…and have a long way to go. Thanks Gary for taking the time to set up and run “Morning Coffee”.

  2. Nancy Novicki says:

Don’t hide your light under a bushel basket but let it shine for all to
see so they will see the good that you do and give the glory to God!
I’m living the journey with a long way to go and time is running out!

The journey does continue for all of us. Without this journey what would be our destination? Satan beware, you will be defeated one day.
